Upcoming News in 2012: In the continuation of Bojagi and Joomchi show, Korea Bojagi Forum will happen in Heyri Artist Village, South Korea from August 22-26. The registration is starting now. Please take a look at the website, www.handsofkorea.com and learn more about Korea Bojagi Forum.

A color catalog of the three-part Hands of Korea exhibition will be available to EPM conference visitors, sponsored by the Cheongju International Craft Biennale

Two new books on the processes of bojagi and Joomchi-making, Chunghie Lee's Bojagi by Chunghie Lee, and Jiyoung Chung's Joomchi by Jiyoung Chung will be introduced at the European Patchowrk Meeting during the Hands of Korea exhibitions.

Upcoming News – Traveling Exhibitions

After the 2010 EPM, the Bojagi and Beyond exhibition will be expanded with the addition of 25 international artists. The expanded exhibit will travel to the Craft and Folk Art Museum, San Francisco, CA, from April - July 2011, and to the Cheongju Craft Museum in Korea from September to October of 2011.

The Korean American Joomchi exhibition will travel in Korea to "With Artists Foundation Gallery" in Heyri Artists Village in October 2010, and to the Cheongju Craft Museum in 2011 with addition of 19 American artists.

There will be a Hands of Korea Day at European Patchwork Meeting. More details will be posted on later on.

Chungie Lee is organizing a conference on Bojagi to be held in Seoul, Korea in January, 2012.
